Sisters shared messages on the purpose of Relief Society, its history and their own pioneer ancestors, who were members of the organization. Several sisters read aloud about the many sacrifices Latter-day Saint women have made to prepare temples and attend them. Stories started with the original Relief Society group that labored in their poverty to prepare the Nauvoo Temple and continued with women from all over the world at different times who likewise willingly contributed to temple construction or temple attendance.
